Save Connections Corrupts File

kkurtz 12 Oct, 2019
This morning I made a very minor change to one of my connections and clicked save. When I went back in my functions and views were missing. What is going on. I am on Joomla 3.9.12.

You have the latest update installed ? latest CF should be installed after latest CC

Also some server security modules may clear large post data, if a module was enabled recently on your website then it may be responsible!

Max,
I am on this version of CC6: Admin-6.0.12 installed 6/19. And this version of CF6: Admin 6.1.4 installed 6/19. I believe I have installed them in the correct order. The latest version of Joomla was installed 9/26. No messages that there are later versions. I haven't installed any other modules lately and I haven't made admin changes to the site in months. Don't know if server security modules have been installed.
How can I get back to normal operations? De-install and re-install?
Thanks,
Karen

OK, I am thinking this is not a bug but a virus of some sort.
I just noticed that in the back-end form view some things are missing. I have attached a screenshot of a complete form view from my development site and one from the live site.
Please give me some guidance in how to recover my connections.

I also have a similar issue. Migtating from one server to another where the version of CC is a month or two older. When making changes in the later version breaks the CC
