Godday, Board Members.

1; Fine, I was able to install chronoforum on my site as a forum extension under joomla component. but yet i am not able to have visitors register on the forum even when i enabled the the joomla login form.

I have actually set the public, registered and superusers to ALLOWED while others have been placed on not set. But yet I can't still create a new account and login as a visitor with a new email, username, and password .
But only I as the superuser can login, post topic, reply the topic and more. Have even logged out several times to ensure a new visitor can create an account and begin postings but still encountering same problem.

Hi st.chalz,

Sorry I don't know anything much about the inner workings of ChronoForums, you need Max for that. I only have the information in the FAQs.

Please try checking your forums from a different browser; or, if you use the same one, clear the browser cache before re-testing.

Hi st.chalz,

Please try to allow ALL groups to view (or post) and test again, does that make it work ?

Regards,
Max

goodday, Max

i am still struggling with the situation of having new members login into the forum as newly registered members. i mean creating new accounts for members to login and start using the basic forum functions. i have virtually set up all the user group category to allowed, yet i am still having feedback as (Email function cannot be instantiated)
