Using Extension Manager > Update.
Update aborts with the following error:
Error installing package
ChronoForms5 extension package (Component + CEGCore library)
Using Extension Manager > Install
Update also fails with the same error as above but with the addition of:
Warning
Extension Install: Another package is already using the named directory: /home/XXXX/public_html/XXXX/administrator/manifests/packages/chronoforms5. Are you trying to install the same extension again?
Joomla error reporting set to: Maximum

The Install error (and probably the Update error) are Joomla! bugs that should be fixed in 3.4.1 shortly. There are workarounds that have been linked to a couple of times in the forums here if you need them.
