Problems with Joomla 3.4 - HELP

Badeda 26 Feb, 2015
Hello,

I am using the Cronoforms Coomponent 4.0.5 together with Joomla 3.3.6.
I updated to Joomla 3.4.
Now when I open the Component in the Joomla Admin area I get a complete blank page no errors.
Now I wanteted tried to Update the component with Chronoforms_V4.0.6_J3.zip but it didn't work.
Error: No Installation Package found.

How can I update the component and would this soulv the problem?

thanks for help

Hi again,

I manually coppied the folder "administrator/components/com_chronoforms/versions/j3.4" from the V 4.0.6 sourcecode to my 4.0.5 Installation and it works.

This solution seems to be not so super good. :?
So still my question: what would be the propper way to update the component?

best regards
Frank

Hi Frank,

A new update is planned in the next couple of days, it should include any changes needed to get this working smoothly.

There is a known bug in Joomla 3.4 that will be corrected in the next release. There is also a patch available (that I have installed, and it works). You can see more about it here:

Hope that helps๐Ÿ™‚
