Problem with dropdown element in edit form (show value from DB))

Hi,
I read a lot of post but I didin't find a solution for my problem.
In few words this is my task:
I made a form with 2 dropdown element chained.
I used Chronoconnectivity to show a list of record inserted with a entry form.
When open a record to make a change in the values of dropdown happen this situation:
the first dropdown load a exact vlue form the db. The second one dropdown chained with the first dosen't load a right value saved before but the first element of the list in the combo box.
How can I resolve this problem?
