Google noCaptcha translation

Change the Google reCAPTCHA language in ChronoForms.

Overview

The reCAPTCHA language is set by a URL parameter and may not reflect the site's language settings.
Ensure your browser's language is correctly set, as reCAPTCHA uses the browser language by default.

Hello,

I was wondering how to change the Google noCaptcha's language. I know there is a url parameter to set the language, I just can't figure it out how to do that with ChronoForms. I also checked the administrator/components/com_chronoforms5/chronoforms/actions/load_nocaptcha/load_nocaptcha.php. There is a language setting but changing it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any suggestions?

Thank you and best regard,
Tomaž

Hi Tomaz,

The language is supposed to be auto detected by Google using the browser's language I think.

Hello,

I'm afraid this is not the case. I tried to open the site in Firefox (English) and Chrome (Slovenian) and captcha appears in English in both browsers. When I check the code, the iframe url parameter hl is set to en which should be sl for Slovenian, it for Italian and so on. I know that noCaptcha supports Slovenian, Croatian, Italian and of course the English language.

P.S. I love this extension. It made my life much much easier.

Best regards,
Tomaž

Hello again,

I contacted my brother to check the captcha and the language is correct. I guess I must have some language setting set wrong.

Thank you and best regards,
Tomaž

Hi Tomaž,

I think that by default ReCaptcha uses the *browser* language setting, not the site one.
