Hi,
I don't know where to post this bug elsewhere - but when searching this forum, there are some things that suck:
1. Search string
If I enter "CFv5" here in "Chronoform How to forum" as search string, I find 92 results.
When I want to filter this result by adding a second term to the search string eg. "Cfv5 condition" I expect a less number. But miraculously I get 126 results. It seems that search connects both terms with "or" rather than "and".
2. Pagination
Result list says on first page "Showing 1 to 20 of 92 entries."
When I click on page 2, suddenly the amount of search results has exploded: "Showing 21 to 40 of 3205 entries."
When I re-enter on that "page 2" the search string "CFv5" it starts a new search, but pagination keeps on staying on page 2, claiming "Showing 21 to 40 of 92 entries." - but the result list is the same as on page 1.
So the search result never show more than 20 results.
All this makes it hard to find the information you need. :-(
I f you don't understand, please try yourself by searching the forum as I did.
Best regards,
Herbert

Hi Herbert,
#2- Yes, we are aware of this and this bug should be fixed soon.
#1- I think this is how the search works ? please try Google, you get results matching any of the keywords, unless you put the keyword inside 2 quotes.
Regards,
Max

Nope. The 2-Quotes-Search means exact search for the string within the quotes. Without quotes Google looks for evidence of both words, instead of any word's single occurence. Btw: when I use "CFv5 condition" in quotes here, there is no match. When I try to search for cfv5 + condition, which should stress the AND condition, the plus sign is deleted and the search string is combined without spaces, so that "cfv5condition" gives no match.
There remains work to be done, sorry for that.
Regards,
Herbert
