Update or correct form data doesn‘t work

Hi guys,

I created a multipage form with Chronoforms 5 in Joomla 2.5 where

Page 1 holds the form and a submit button (to page 2)

Page 2 shows an overview of the form + a Submit button (E-Mail) + a 'back to page one' button

I'd like to update or correct the data if something is wrong in the overview, but after clicking the back button, adjusting the data in my form and clicking the submit button (back to the overview) it is not updated 😟 . How can I overwrite existing data?

What you describe here should work OK. Adding Debuggers should let you see exactly what is happening.
