How to resolve a "cannot make directory" error when saving PDFs.

Overview

The error occurs when specifying an incorrect or non-writable custom folder path.
Leave the path field empty to use the default directory, or ensure any custom path is the full server path and the folder has write permissions.

Can someone help me on the path for saving pdf's to the server? I keep getting a "cannot make directory" error.

Hi Sharon,

I think that if you want to add a custom path you have to find out the full server path and add that - not just the part that starts with your site root folder. ON my test site that is something like this:

/home/my_account/my_site.com/components/com_chronoforms5/uploads/

And the folder must be writeable by the Joomla! User.
