We are ugrapding from a J1.5 site to J2.5.22.
Working forms that I exported/imported from the old site to the new AND new forms created on the new site have these issues:

Server side validation does not work. Although many fields are required, I can submit a blank form. However, captcha validation DOES work, the forms will not submit with an invalid captcha.
Using "test form" from inside the wizard gives an error about a missing file in the Jstrap template directory tree. Nothing else on the site gives the same error.

Also, "frontend view" from the Chronoforms console gives a blank page. It uses URLs of the format "mysite.com/index.php?option=com_chronoforms&chronoform=MyForm" which I am told by the sysadmin is not allowed because of a recent security upgrade to J 2.5.22. So I understand why that is happening, but am wondering if there is a change to Chronoforms in response.
This morning I upgraded CF from 4RC3.0 to 4.0.1. The behavior is the same.
I don't know what I should be looking at. Guidance, please?
