Joomla 3, Chronoforms 4: No Captcha Image

toad 01 May, 2014
I used the Easy Form Wizard to develop the form, Enabled the Captcha and am using the TrueType fonts. Captcha is not displaying. Code view says it cannot load the image. I tested three different browsers, same result.

Suggestion?

I am having the same problem. I am using the lastest version of Joomla 3.3.0 and Chronoforms V4.0.5_J3. I am using the Easy Form Wizard. I can't find where to change Load action to "Yes".

I tried changing the code in the chrono verification file but there is a file permission issue when I try to view it.

Here is a link to the form...

Hi Chuck,

Please try to switch the wizard to advanced mode and try to set the "True type fonts" to no.

If this doesn't help then you may try alternative security like the security question or ReCaptcha or even simple server validation!

Hello,

I already had True Fonts off and it still wasn't showing.

I then enabled Recaptcha in the Joomla Global Configurations but it's not showing in the recaptcha.

Any tips would be great.

Thanks, Chuck

The ReCaptcha in Joomla config doesn't affect Chronoforms, please use Chronoforms ReCaptcha actions, this is explained in the FAQ along with the security question!

Just search the FAQs section for "ReCaptcha" or "Security question", both should give you results.
