Captcha not showing up after RSFirewall security update

Everything was working fine until I installed RSFirewall and followed the security recommendations. One of them ... moving the configuration.php file out of the public area, seems to break the form. The captcha disappears. I think it has something to do with the php open_basedir directive. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can try the "reCaptcha" or the "security question" instead ?
