Hi!
When I try to use container to holds fields, I can't change its containers or to let it out of container, or it will perform incorrectly
I have recorded a video to render this bug http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uIbeZgjLWI
Hi,
I have the same Problem under Joomla 3.2.3, Chronoforms v5, Firefox 27.0.1

hi folks i'm having the same trouble with this, only recently having added chronoforms v5 to a new site i made. haven't added chronoforms to a site for a while.
anyone come up with a solution yet to resolve the containers issue? i'd love to be able to move items from container to container as its too easy to have missed something when planning a form and then have to start over with major parts of it!
I'm creating a complex online membership form for a charity that requires loads of information and i keep forgetting something that i then have to go and redo the whole lot for, grrrrrr
Hi,
The feature is not yet ready but its on the todo list, its not a bug, it just doesn't exist!🙂

Any eta? Is this feature in prev version?
The new version got a "copy" button for every element, and a "paste" button for containers, so now you can clone elements between different containers easily, no need to drag/move them!
I'm trying to finish new demo forms to publish it today, if not then tomorrow!

Hello,
unfortunately this feature doesn't work in CF5 RC6 (Joomla 3.3):
After copying a multi field and pasting it in the container it is displayed IN the container. But after saving the form the multi field is still outside the container.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Regards,
Hans-Christian
Hello Hans,
Did you test with normal fields ? do they have the same problem ?

Regular fields pasted into a container seem to save okay. Multi Field is definitely broken. A Multi Field pasted into a container will jump back out of the container when the form is saved. I happened to need to do this today and ran into the problem.
Steve
Thanks for the confirmation, I have fixed the issue and it will be ready in the next update!

Hello,
I tested it with a normal text field. Unfortunately I was not able to drag/drop it in a container, even when I edited and saved the text field.
After saving the whole form the text field was still outside the container (not in the containter).

Hans-Christian
Correction/Remark: Copy and Paste of a text field into a container works. Drag & drop does not work. But for me it's ok if copy and paste works.
