Hi kindheart,

It looks as if the site may have maqic quotes set on in the PHP configuration. Please check the settings on the Site Admin | System Information | PHP Info page.

Hi Bob!

Thanks for your reply, but chronoforms 5 should has auto checking feature for this, because many hosting don't have options to change php config (or putting custom php.ini or ini_set() ... )
and Chronoforms 4 handles it perfectly.

Hi kindheart,

I don't know how Max handled this in the two versions. I suspect he relied on the Joomla! code in CFv4.

Anyhow Magic Quotes are deprecated in PHP 5.3 and removed from 5.4 so your web host should be able to handle the change for you if you can't do it yourself.

Hi kindheart,

Please check first if this setting is enabled or not and let us know, and I will then investigate the issue.

Hi Max!

Thanks for your reply, I think its setting is on, however I have decided to use chronoforms v4 for now, in the future I'll use it when more people uses php 5.4🙂
Thanks again.

Thank you, but could you please double check it ? is it on of off ?🙂

Because this info is vital to find the source of the problem!

Hi kindheart,

Then that is the cause of your problem, you;ll probably be OK if you set it off.
