PayPal Redirect Full throwing error on Chronoforms v4.0.4

Resolve a PayPal Redirect error in ChronoForms after a Joomla update.

Overview

The error occurs because the PayPal Redirect action uses outdated code (JParameter) that is incompatible with newer Joomla versions.
Contact the CF developer to request and install the updated patch for the PayPal Redirect action.

Hello everyone.

I just updated my chronoforms version to v4.0.4 to get out a different error. When I went back to my forms, I noticed my paypal actions were all set to free trial. However, I purchased the full versions of the actions some time ago. I reinstalled the paypal actions and now can't get the paypal redirect to work. I am getting this error: Fatal error: Class 'JParameter' not found in /home/appsave/public_html/administrator/components/com_chronoforms/form_actions/paypal_redirect/paypal_redirect.php on line 17. Has anyone see this? I am guess it might be as simple as updating the actions, but I don't know where to download the updates from. I am set to go live in two days. Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated.

Hi Erik

The JParameter error is a part of the Joomla! code change from 2.5 to 3. Please use the Contact Us link above to ask Max for updated versions of the actions. I don't have them.

Thanks for the quick reply Bob! Max just emailed me the patch for the action. I installed it and it is good to go. I really appreciate your and Max's quick response to questions. Have a great night!
