Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial to export data in xls?

There is no longer a full Excel export in ChronoForms (there were some size and security problems with the previous library used). You can export to a CSV file that can be opened in Excel using either the standard CSV Export [GH] installed with ChronoForms v4; or you can get my updated version here (apologies for the slow site).

Is it possible to get an info for CF V5 how to use the export-xls routine?
I asked already in the Q&A section, but so far no helpful hints about what syntax or variable need to be place in the DATA PATH field etc.
So far , I couldn't even force chronoforms to save any xls. So hints /examples for all fields of the export-xls routine are welcome.

I hope this post will attract attention from additional moderators here :-)

My intention is , that after submitting the form data set, to store it in a registration data table for an event.
Afterwards, the created xls file should be available via a link for a group of event organizers - the race committee.
