Chronoforms IE 10 Issue

MichaelvC 14 Jan, 2014
Hello,

I've encountered a issue with submitting the chronoforms on one of my company's client's website in IE 10. When I submit a Chronoform on their website in IE 10 I receive a "This page can't be displayed" error. Here is the query in the URL of the form submission:

contact-us.html?chronoform=Contact_NST_Systems&event=submit

I've tested one of the forms with the debugger on but no bugs were found during the test. The website is using a gantry template , Chronoforms version 4.0.1, and Joomla 2.5.17.. I've also attached a screenshot of the events in the chronoform I've been testing.

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi MichaelvC,

Please see this FAQ and check the part about the Reltive URL setting.

Hello Greyhead,

Thank you for your reply. I've reviewed the FAQ and tested updating the Relative URL option to be set to No for the form I've been testing. However, I am still receiving the "This page can't be displayed" error in IE 10.

Hi MichaelvC ,

Unfortunately I no longer have IE10 to test on but I can try with IE11 compatibility mode. Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Hi MichaelvC,

Hmmm it seems to work OK from IE11 in IE10 emulation mode.

It looks as though Relative URL is still set to Yes?

Hello GreyHead,

My apologies, I had turn the Relative URL option to Yes after my testing. I've updated the form so the Relative URL option is set to No.
