Some Joomla templates also apply CSS styling to ReCaptcha and they set the position to relative which can do this.
If you are the same person that emailed this question today - then please don't ask twice. In your case there are a mess of codes and scripts on the page and I was unable to see what was causing the problem. I suggest that you use Captcha or Security Questions instead of ReCaptcha.
