License of ChronoForms - commercial?

Teok 04 Dec, 2013
Hello. Why have some files (like for example ccms.css, frontforms.css, formwizard.css, formwizard.js) got commercial license note? For example:

/*
* ChronoCMS (chronocms.com)
* Copyright 2010 - chronocms.com
* license : Commercial
* Redistributions of files must retain the above copyright notice.
*/

but on website i can read

Our extensions are NOT commercial, this means that you may download and use them for free without any limited features, but to be able to continue working at our components and provide the excellent support on forums we decided to get a small profit out of them, but at the same time don't force everybody to pay in order to use our extensions!

Every extension has a "Powered by" link at the bottom of every page created, the link is to our website http://www.chronoengine.com, when you purchase a subscription you will be able to get rid of the credits link easily, only the link will be removed, no other data will be affected.

Our Joomla extensions are distributed under the terms of the GPL license!

Can you explain this contradiction? Maybe i don't understand something.

Hi Teok,

I don't know, you'd need to ask Max through the Contact Us link above.

My best guess is that these files were copied over from ChronoCMS which is a standalone CMS, not a Joomla! extension and the headings were not updated.
