Love your products! Thought of you when I got this request:
An association asked me to create a ListServ for them.
I said they'd be better served by a Forum, since it would also archive discussions.
They were open to the idea but had two requirements:
1.) Be 100% private. Users need to sign in to see anything -- and Search Engines can't index it.
2.) Allow email interaction. Sounds like most members like the ease of just replying to an email.
I don't know if any forum does this. But I thought I'd ask if yours would work out of the box or with a few simple modifications.
Thanks!
Phil

Hi Max,
There are a lot of us who run mailman list servers that would like to combine our web forums and our email lists to get the best of both worlds.
Are there any plans to support post-by-mail to the ChronoForums?

Great! I will download RC8 tonight and give it a spin.
Is there documentation on the post-by-mail feature?

Hi Mark,
Please download it again as I had to fix a small thing in this part.
It's straight forward, you just need a special mailbox for this feature, you enter the address and its password, and the mailbox path, the path is dependent on the mailbox server, some help is provided below the settings.
You will then need to set up a cron task on your server to touch the url responsible for scanning the mailbox!
