Hi
I just installed and enabled following components of ChronoForms:
- Chronoforms_V4.0.1_J3.zip
- Chronoforms_J3.0_V4_RC3.5.3_Plugin.zip
- Mod_Chronoforms_J3.0_V4_RC3.5.3.zip
And then created some forms (one with Forms Wizard, one with Easy Wizard). Now I want to show them in an Article. I use the tags
{chronoforms}testform{/chronoforms}
{chronoforms}RegisterForm{/chronoforms}
but instead of the form, the tags are shown.
There are no p tags, I even completely disabled the editor to make sure that no html is between the tags.
I checked all FAQs, made sure the plugin is installed but it still does not work😟
I'm using Joomla 3.1.5.
Please help, I have no idea why it is not working.
Thanks

Hi Roemer,
Nor do I :-( Is the ChronoForms plug-in enabled?
Please post a link to the form so I can take a quick look.

Yes, Module, Component and Plugin is enabled. If I use a MenuItem or a Module to show the Form, it does work perfectly.
As a hacky workaround, I left the module activated and used {loadposition someposition} inside the article to show the module which shows the form. This actually works but it would be nice to show the forms directly in the articles.
I just set up a completely empty joomla 3.1.5, installed only the 3 components of chronoforms and I experienced the same problem. This seems quite strange, don't know what else to test.

Hmm very strange. I just installed it on another Host and there it worked.
But I can reproduce the problem on my local pc when using XAMPP.
I send you a link to one of the not-working versions via PM. If you want' I can also send you a zip with a pre-configured XAMPP (empty joomla 3.1.5 with just chonoforms).

Hi Roemer,
I can only guess that there is some difference in the php.ini settings that somehow blocks the XAMMP version. I can't think of anything else . . . or what settings might have that effect :-(

I was having some problems with the plugin as well. The form validation was working, but after submission the form just reappeared empty. I checked:
- Versions of plugin and component
- Plugin published
- Plugin in article: Between div, not p
But in the end this solved my problem:
In the form settings (general) set the 'Relative URL' to 'No'. Now everything works fine for me. Just wanted to let you guys know.
