Conditional forms

Hi!
I have seen this question asked and answered a couple of times here in this foruum but as I know very little (if anything) about coding, I couln´t find the way to do this myself so I ask:
Is there anyone that can send me a foolproof step by step information on how to do as follows?

I need a form that after some info aobut the user it has 3 or 4 radio buttons (or dorpdown list, it´s the same) where the user will choose one activity he does.

If the chooses activity 1 some fields are shown to complete (or even he can be redirected to a new form1), if he chooses activity 2 other specific fields are shown (or even he can be redirected to a new form2), and so on.

Is there anyone who can help me with that? I looked over the Internet and couldn´t find a way to do it myself, I even tried the (GH)Event Switcher Action but again, I couldn´t.

Maybe there is no easy way to do this so feel free to tell that and I will see how to solve this.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Ragoni,

Are you trying to do this in the same form using JavaScript? Or are you planning a multi-page form - when the Event Switcher [GH] would be useful.

Hi Greyhead! Thanks for you answer.
I am not a programmer so I am not using javascript at all🙂
Just to give you an idea, this is what I did as long as I find a better solution:

I created a menu item in joomla with two submenues, activty 1 and activty 2, each of those submenues leading to a specific form. What I want to do is that this option was on the form, no problem if once you click on one activity it takes you to a new form.

thanks!
