Hi,
I am stuck on a website with v3.2 and I don't have the time to convert it all to v4. As on most other project I am using v4 every time I have to work on this site I struggle to remember how to use v3.2.
Can somebody please tell me how to adjust the Field Name in a TextBox object in Form Wizard? I seem to be able to have the Field Name option in some objects (ie. Dropdown, Dates, etc) but not in others. In particular I need to adjust it to the TextBox items.
I can go edit the Form HTML but if I adjust the Field Name here every time I reopen the Form with the Form Wizard it stuffs up all the work I did!
I must be missing something very simple here! How do you adjust the Field Name in a TextBox field from the Wizard?
Thankyou,
Adri

HI Adri,
If you edit the form in the Wizard, click on the Element you want to rename an a Properties box should open at the bottom right.
If you don't see it then the MooTools Upgrade Plugin may be enabled, if you disable it while you edit then re-enable it again it should work OK.

Hi Bob,
And thank you for your reply. As I have tried with the MooTools but no difference. The Property box does work, as you can see here

but there is no way to adjust the Field Name, as I can do here

Is there any reason why the Field Name is not been displayed in the TextBox objects?
Thanks,
Adri

Hi Adri,
If you are using IE then try a different browser; and check for JavaScript conflicts on the page - that's probably what the problem is.

Thanks Bob, all fixed! You are the man!🙂
How stupid of me not to try a different browser! Probably because I was using FireFox 20.0.1 !?!?!
Tried with IE and Chrome and both work perfectly!!! Time to give Firefox the boot!?
Thanks again Bob, this had me really smoking for a few hours!
