Hi there

I'm running Chronoforms 3.2 on Joomla version 1.5.26 and I need to have two fields on a form validate the date in Australian format (DD-MM-YYYY). I've set the two fields to validate-date-au however they only valildate dates in SQL format (YYYY-MM-DD) which the users of this site will find this very confusing. I've done this before on another site which I no longer have access to and it worked fine so I can't figure out what I've done wrong this time.

We've recently seen an odd bug with some browsers and MooTools versions where the class names are misread so that a partial match is accepted. I think that is what is happening here and the validate_date_au class is being read as matching validate_date.

I'm afraid that I'm not sure what to suggest that you do about it. One way would be to hack the validation code so that the names are distinct e.g. au_validate_date
