Hi I use Chronoforms V4 3.5 on Joomla 3. I made an password protection on my administrator Folder with akeeba Admin Tools (.htaccess).
When I open the Frontend of Chronoforms a popup appears and want a passwort (Restricted Area). I can klick it away (without password) and the Form is shown. But I dont want the password Box.
What can I do?
Lou

Hi Lou,
That's nothing to do with ChronoForms, it's a setting in an .htaccess file somewhere that happens to pop up on the ChronoForms page, possibly because ChronoForms accesses a file in the administrator folder. I'd suggest that you check the Akeeba documents to see how to change it.

I have the same problem, here.
Password-Popup on the chronoforms. Possible to click it away (without password)
My hoster had setup an obligatory password-protection for the /administrator folder of joomla (security reasons) so I cannot deactivate it.
Why is chronoforms loading anything out of the /administrator folder? There seems to be no reason for this...
Don't know any soloution now...
Please help...

Hi kthormann,
At the present I think that the only answers are to use a different form extension or to change web host to one what will let you un-protect some admin sub-folders. ChronoForms accesses the form elements and form actions from both the front and back ends and I guess for historic reasons they are saved in the administrator folder.
You might use the Contact Us link above to ask Max if he has any suggestions about this.
