Hi ppl,
im helping a gliding association with there Joomla Homepage. I have installed the latest Chronoforms for the 1.5 Joomla System (they dont want a migration to a higher version of joomla) and i patched there joomla system to 1.5.26.
The Contactform works great and looks quite good. I also created a registration Form that work quite good. But there is a problem if a user try's to register with a email that is already in the system.
After submiting the form he gets a error msg and the form, two times (see screenshot here). Is this bug known?
Some informations:
Joomla 1.5.26
ChronoForms 3.1 RC5.2
i have build the registration form like the one in this how to: Link
ahh and sorry for my bad english. Hope you people can understand what i mean.🙂

Hi mariosebastian,
I'm sorry, I haven't seen exactly this problem before and I don't know what causes it. It may be related to how the form is being loaded in the page: perhaps it is showing both in the body of the page and in a module at the bottom of the page?
Bob

Hey Bob,
i tried different ways to setup the form, but all of them show the same error.
1. tried on a blank page with the mambot code {chronocontact}xyz{/chronocontact}
2. tried to link direct to the form.
Also the module isnt active or published. I just use the Plugin and the component.
If you want you can take a look here: http://www.hdlsj.de/verein/component/chronocontact/?chronoformname=registrierung
Just use:
John Doe
johndoe
"a password"
"another password to confirm"
and the email: johndoe@example.com
Like i said all other things work fine, just a double registration with a mail that is already in the system leads to this problem.
with regards
Mario

Hi mariosebastian,
Have you fixed this? I don't see any duplicate form, just the normal error messages?
Bob

Hi Mario,
Maybe a wrong configuration in your actions caused this problem, or maybe you have the form published twice using 2 different methods, please test the form using the "Test form" button in the wizard, see if you get the same issue ? you may also send me a login through the "Contact us" page so I can check it myself.
Regards,
Max
