I'm having a few issues and I'm not sure what the problem is.
1) Every time I try to save a form it takes me back to the main Joomla login screen and the changes to the form does NOT get saved.
2) Also, I am able to copy a form but cannot make any changes to it. The same thing as above happens.
3) When I create a NEW form the content does not show on the frontend.
Any idea what is happening please?
I tried the suggestions as per the link but no luck😟

I'm having this issue again on another site😟
What's odd is that I'm redesigning the new site on the same server as the old site. The old site has about 7 forms and I did not have this issue. The new site only has 3 forms, including the one I'm currently creating, and I'm facing this issue - so I'm confused.
The max_input_vars = 1000 on both websites. Any idea what could be happening?

It depends on the size and complexity of the forms you are building. The Form Wizards are giant forms, each form element and action can use anything from a dozen to a hundred or more form inputs so the number adds up quickly.
If your forms start getting more than basic then you will quickly break the 1000 vars default limit, most people seem to find that going to 2000 is enough, occasionally you may need to go higher still (or break your form up into sub forms).

Just out of curiosity I ran a test on a recent form which is complicated but not very big. It has 23 elements, and 30 actions in 6 events. The Form Wizard has around 720 variables when it submits.
