Max. input length for Omitted fields names and val

Horst 14 May, 2008
Hi there,

the textbox for this input is limited to 100 chars.
For my lengthy form with descriptive field names
like categoryEventAgency and so on this is way too short.

Okay, I edited the
administrator/components/com_chronocontact/admin.chronocontact.html.php
but I think, a higher default value would be preferable.

The same applies to all textboxes on the validation tab and whereever else...

Wishes,
Horst

Hi Horst, we had this fixed at the last online version, do you have an older version I think ?

Cheers

Hi admin,

hmm, what I downloaded on May, 12th, was:
ChronoForms V2.5 J1.5 RC3.1.zip

I think this is the last one, isn't it?

Hi Horst,

That it the latest download - but I've just downloaded it to check and see that the package doesn't seem to contain the latest version. Something odd happening here.

If Max comes by maybe he can re-upload the latest version. I have to go out now but will take a look again when I'm back later today.

Thanks alot GreyHead.

But one question concerns me: if the zip did not
contain the latest version, am I able to update
without breaking my forms I already have?
Should I stop developing at this moment and wait
for the fixed version?

Regards,
Horst
