confused about paypal CF V4

Sorry if I'm being dense, but I have a form I want to redirect to paypal (very simple, fixed amount).

I am using CF 4.0 RC3.21 Joomla 2.5.4 and have chosen the paypal redirect - trial. It is putting what seem to be random amounts in the paypal screen.

Is this because I have a trial and need to purchase the "real" plugin? I don't mind doing this but can't find it anywhere to purchase. The one on the subscriptions area says it's for paypal pro subscribers.

Hi Cheryl,

If it's a simple payment you can do it with the free ReDirect URL and Redirect User actions.

If you need to buy the action I can only suggest that you contact Max and ask him what the process is.

Thanks Bob, I would just need simple but couldn't find an example of using the redirect, and the paypal redirect was already there. I have done that before on the old CF but never on the new.

I did a search but didn't find anything that I could figure out.

I see that Max has added a new FAQ about using the PayPal Redirect action.

I checked out the FAQ, helpful, thank you! It does say you have to purchase the plugin to get it to work correctly. Which is what I figured. Still don't know exactly what to purchase. I am going to assume i purchase the paypal plugin, even though it says you have to have paypal pro.

I will wait to hear confirmation on that for sure, from Max. Then I'll report back so others searching here might find the answer.

Se this post from this morning which has an example of using the ReDirect URL action with settings taken from a PayPal button - you can of course use any valid PayPal parameters like this.
