Sort on back end form manager

Very easy to ask for - probably not as easy to implement.

1. The ability to list forms in the form manager by name, date created, date modified or published.
2. the ability to pick a form name in the menu designer from a drop down.

No harm in asking, ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi,

The 'Forms App' feature in the latest releases of ChronoForms can help with finding forms. You can set a value for Form App on the form Admin Actions tab (click the Form Name link in the Forms Manager to access it). This allows you to group related forms together and then access the group from the drop-down in the Forms Manager.

Note: the 'Default' setting in the drop-down lists all forms *without* a Form App set so it may seem like your form has disappeared!!

Hi Bob,

Ah hah! That helps no end.

The other thing that has thrown me is that one can have several forms with the same name - I think from restoring forms. That seems to add rather than replace or warn that the form if the same name exists. And it is then not obvious which the system will pick. It might be more sense to compile a new post on that matter.

Thanks

Hi Nick,

That has caught me a few times :-(

I think that the form that is used if there is more that one with the same name is the one with the lowest ID but I wouldn't guarantee that. I have learnt that if my form doesn't seem to show the last edits that's a likely explanation.
