Could not instantiate mail function

Hi

Im having a problem with sending emails from Chromoform, when im trying it tells me "Could not instantiate mail function".

I tried putting a debugger on the form. It tells me: "An email has been SENT successfully from ..." but I don't receive any :-(

I have a suspicion that there is something wrong with my site configuration. Because the "mail a friend" feature dosen't work either.

Does anyone have a suggestion to what I could do to fix it?

Hi Jonas,

The main settings are in the Site Global Configuration | Server tab. That's the place to start checking. What the settings need to be will depend on your web host.

Im trying to use PHP mailer.

with a domain email adresse. Does I need to configurate any files, for it to work.

I don't know. You need to check the Joomla documents for where the settings are and your web host's documents for the settings required.

It turns out, that is was my host, that was bug'ed. Without any chances it started working again.
