It's been said before but...

Hi - I'm sure this has been discussed many times but I can't seem to find the answer on this forum (I've been trying for a couple of hours now)

All I'd like is to have my users login, fill in a form and submit it to the database.

Next time they log in I would like them to be able to see the form pre-populated with their data so they can amend it and save over it.

Is there a how-to for this?

Any help much appreciated

(fantastic component by the way)

Hi Jim,

As you say it's been discussed here many times. Please try searching on getUser for some examples.

You need to make sure that the user ID is saved in the table, ChronoForms will normally do this for you. Then use a DB Record Loader action to check the User ID and re-load the data on future visits.

Thanks Bob - do any of your guides cover this one? I'm not really a developer so a step by step would be helpful to me.

Hey Bob - just bought you a beer for $5

Over here it's £4.50

4.50 GBP = 7.09 USD

what kind of muck are you drinking eh?

:)

Hi marmitejim,

French beer - with a lot less tax on it. Though in truth it's a long time since I last drank beer at all.
