E-Mail sending / MySQL Saving doesn't work

Hi

Now i need the next solution🙂

I created the Basic Form like the Tutorial with Chrono Contact 2.5 J1.5 RC2 on Joomla 1.5.

and i downloaded the test_form for testin, but i didn't receive any e-mail and after creating a table, their are no data in it.
I get no errors and the debug mode shows nothing... (ok, i not sure how to work with the debug mode, but i try🙂)

and i try to set an redirection url, but after sending the form shows the frontpage of joomla.

Validation, Anti-Spam and SEO-Urls are disabled.

Any Idea? When is Chronoforms stable for J1.5🙂 ?

Until you have the basic form working keep Debug - On, Validation - Off, Anti-Spam - Off and Redirect URL - empty.

If you don't see debug info from the basic form then something is 'odd' with the form or site settings.

If you see debug OK and you aren't getting any emails then please check the FAQs here as there are a few things that can cause that.

Yesterday i disabel all joomla SEF, but it takes no effect. and today morning🙂 i found the solution.
I installed SmartSef too🙂

In SmartSef you should do this:

Go to SmartSEF Router Settings
URL Rewrite Setting: Use SmartSEF basic rewriting
Bypass POST redirects: Yes

then it works!

I would be very glad, if you write this in FAQ.

Glad you sorted all that out. Probably one for SmartSEF FAQS though. We do have a ChronoForms PlugIn for SH404SEF somewhere around here.

just got to Compontents | SmartSEF and then choose "Router Configuration Settings". In the line "com_chronocontacts" (you find it in the first col) change "Bypass POST redirects" from "no" to "yes".
