Profile Plugin will not show up

JoshW 30 Mar, 2012
Hello,

When attempting to create a new registration form in Chronoforms that also places the form data in the appropriate Joomla database table, I find that the Profile Plugin is not showing up. According to another forum post I read, the Profile Plugin is included in the Chronoforms install, but for some reason it's not accessible in my backend. May I please have some help with diagnosing and solving this problem or may you please point me in the correct direction? I just need to somehow get the Profile Plugin showing up or find a suitable workaround.

I am using:
Chronoforms V4
Joomla 1.6.0
PHP 5.2.17
a Linux server with Apache 2.2.22
MySQL 5.1.61
Here is the website
Here is the registration form I've created. It works fine, but it just needs to connect properly with the user database so I can use it as a registration form and keep all the user data users submit using the form.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the great extension and your dedicated support.

Hi JoshW,

The Profile Page plug-in was in ChronoForms v3; in CFv4 the nearest equivalent is probably the Confirmation Page action in the Utilities group.

What do you want to use the Profile Page for?

Hi rebeccamantel,

Which version of ChronoForms are you using?
You can find the version from Site Admin | Extensions | Install/Uninstall | Components in Joomla! 1.5 or Site Admin | Extensions | Extension Manager | Manage in Joomla! 1.6/1.7/2.5.

Hi rebeccamantel,

Please upgrade to the latest release of CFv4 as there have been some bug-fixes.

You can use the Authenticator action to check that users are logged in; then the DB Record Loader to access and re-load saved information for that user.

Hi rebeccamantel,

Errr . . . you can get the latest version from the Downloads link above (or from the ChronoForms article on the sire homepage). Just install over the existing version.
