Chronoforms module bug

MetaTak9482 12 Mar, 2012
Hi to everyone, I'm here because I have a problem with Chronoforms. I'm using Joomla! 2.5.2 with:

ChronoForms component 4.0 RC3.2
ChronoForms module V4 RC3.0
chronoforms plugin V4 RC3.0

I have tried to publish my form in two way: through the plugin system and through the module system.

The form is fully-working. No issue with it. It has a name with just characters.
The problem comes when I have to add it on a custom HTML. Initially, I thought that doing a direct link with the Fronpage view one, in the HTML, would be enough in order to recall the form, but if I do so, the page load in a very odd way.
I have searched about this issue on the net and I have found that to insert the form on the fronpage/module/article, you have to use or the module system or the plugin system.

I have initially tried the plugin system. Everything worked fine, except for the fact that, even if I deactivate every option about showing titles etc., the plugin place a "Articles" word on the page. Believe me, I have passed all the possible options, in order to remove it, but such title permains. It seems also to appear even in other sections, under certain circumstances, that nothing have to do with Chronoforms. Deactivating the plugin, resolve the problem.

So I have decided to pass to the module version to publish the form. I have configured the menu area, inserting the form name correctly, but when I try to check the form, pasting the related Link URL generated, I get a "Form name can NOT be empty!" error and, checking it, seems that a fundamental part of the entire URL, doesn't get added in the URL displayed, even if the user fill the related "form name" textbox.

Can someone help me? Thanks.

Hi MetaTak9482,

even if I deactivate every option about showing titles etc., the plugin place a "Articles" word on the page.

Well it's not coming from ChronoForms either as far as I know :-(

I also just checked the current module and it displays a form on my Hoem Page with no errors.

Please make sure to purge the website cache after every test ? maybe it was just some cached string.

I have deactivated by trial-and-error about some modules and it worked. Probably there was some sort of conflict, acting oddly.
