Hi Matt,

Have you set up a template Override to redirect to your form? If not how are you doing the redirection?

Hi Matt,

Also in J1.6 you can simply use the "Redirect" component to setup a permanent redirect from the Joomla form to the Chronoform for registration.

Hi Matt,

I can confirm that I don't see anything in the Target Event drop-down either - looks like a bug to me :-(

Hi Bob,

When do you think they will do an update of the module? Because you can't do nothing in my case 😟
GreyHead 01 Feb, 2012
Hi Matt,

I told Max this morning, he's thinks he's found the problem and you should see a new release soon - probably tomorrow unless something else comes up in the testing.

I am having the same type of issue with joomla registration. Everything looks good until the user tries to activate their membership then i get a 403 error that has at the bottom of the text :

Hi chudman28,

Looks like you have a problem with SEF URLs doing strange things. What does the confirmation link in the user email look like?

Bob

the confirmation link looks like this :

http://www.thebridalpreproom.com/Virginia/index.php?option=com_users&task=registration.activate&token=7076c61247c3ed6462e777f411205fcd

i have deactivated the form until we can fix the issue. let me know if you want me to reactivate it.

Hi chudman28,

That looks OK - it's going back to the standard com_users component to complete the registration (not to ChronoForms) I suspect that the problem is that the SEF URLs are not handling the sub-domain correctly. You might also check to see if there is a live_site setting in the configuration.php file, if that is incorrect it can cause problems, Usually it's best to leave it empty.

the config file seems ok :

public $live_site = '';

what can be done about the SEF?
chudman28 03 Feb, 2012
You were 100% right! The problem is being caused by not having the Joomla packaged SEF option not being set up correctly. I thought I did set it up right but apparently I didn't!

In case anyone out there doesn't know you need to change htaccess.txt to .htaccess when you activate Joomla's SEF funtion.

Once I changed that everything worked fine!!

Thanks for the suggestion!!!😀 😀 😀

Hi Matt,

I've just checked and there is no new release yet. Now you know as much as I do :-(
