can't redirect after user gets a 'zip' file to download

dench 26 Jan, 2012
Hi there and wow, what a great job you do !!!

Why can't I redirect to a page after the submit button is linked to a zip file downloading page :

When someone clicks on the "submit" button on one form I've created,
after he has filled the name and password form,
He is redirecting to "ZIP" file to download his pictures ( i am a photographer )

It seems that the "redirect option" or the "On Submit code - after sending email" have no effect...

Can you help ?
thanks by advance

Hi dench,

Here's the reply I posted over on your other thread. I'll remove it from there as the topic is different.

I can't tell from the info here :-(

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

Hi dench,

I've looked at your form and I think that it's redirecting the user to the file link. At this point ChronoForms has lost control and there is nothing else that it can do.

I'd be inclined to redirect the user to a second ChronoForms that show a download link for the file; then you can add a 'Confirm Download OK' button which would Submit that form. And then in the On Submit code you could delete the file.
