Chronoforms v3 "Could not instantiate mail function"

This has been my problem for 3days now and still counting..
I already tried changing the mail setting to "sendmail" and "smtp server" but still no luck on fixing the error
I'm using joomla1.5 and chronoforms v3

Can you send emails from your site at all? If not then check the help files from your webhost for instructions on setting up mail in PHP.

Yes sir bob I was able to send mail to my self, where can i find this helper for php mail function?actually I have access to webhost.

I've never had to use any configuration apart from the settings in Site Global Configuration (other than to fix odd Joomla! bugs).
