G'Day,
- I am currently running J1.5.1 and ChronoForms J1.5 V2.5 RC1 and using the component to develop and test my form
- Using the built in validation functionality works fine in FireFox but IE7 just posts the form and no validation is performed
I have seen posts saying there could be a conflict with mootools.js that is included with J!? Is this still the case or is there some other hack to make the built in validation work with IE7?
TIA

Hi The Edge,
No formal fix yet but I'm hoping that Max will get an updated release for Joomla 1.5 in the next few days (depends how busy he is with client work I'm afraid).
I believe that someone posted here that they had hacked the Mootools code out of the 2.3.7 release and put it into 1.5 OK. You could search for that if time is of the essence.

GreyHead,
Thanks for the info. I couldnt wait for the fix so I incorporated my own JavaScript to perform the validation. Would be nice to see mootools natively supported though.

Can you post the changes you made to the validation javascript
I ended up not using the built in validation script at all, but rather a seperate framework.
