I'm using joomla 1.0.14 and the latest version of chronoform!
I am able to receive emails without the file upload. If I put the enctype line in the General tab (as suggested) it does not email the form. If I take it out - it does, but not with the attached file. I saw this question asked once already - but no solution??
I have attached my form to this post for feedback! Maybe this is a simple known bug that I can fix easily!

Hi Martha,
It's a known strange bug but we don't have a fix for it yet😟
I've restored your form and it works perfectly for me. Uploads the file OK and sends it on as an email attachment.
I made just small changes to your form: turned off imagevalidation, put my name in place of your in the Email addresses box, temporarily removed the redirect url (otherwise you don't see the debug info), and turned debug on.
The bug (or something similar) has been reported twice recently - it appears to have something to do with server configuration in one case, not sure about the other.
Please will you turn debug on and see if that says 'Email sent' when there is a file upload. This will tell us if the problem is in ChronoForms or after the email is sent by ChronoForms.
Thanks

Case 1: Use table layout
E-mail: 'Yes' custom
Email not sent
This is the debug error I got for my form when I turned off image verification, turned on debug and deleted my redirect page.
I don't know what that debug means! I'm hoping to be able to use this form to send uploads! I've got my $$ ready to get a license if it works!🙂
If this is server error - what do I say to my host to have them fix it? I host with SiteGround.

Hi Martha,
The 'Email not sent' line means that ChronoForms has sent an email to the Joomla mailer and the mailer has returned 'false' which means that it was rejected somewhere in the Joomla system.
Unfortunately that's all that Joomla says 'OK' or 'Not OK' - no clues as to what has gone wrong. To do this you need to dig into the code and track an email through on a system that isn't working. Neither Max nor I have any problem with sending file attachments so we can't test.
Sorry not to be more helpful.
Bob
Is it possible to pay you guys some consulting fee to fix my form and then I can get a full license? If so send me an email!
martha
Hi Martha,
Sure it's possible, I'm away from the office in London for a week or two and don't have access to my usual toolkit.
Please try contacting Max through the contact form here, if he can't help then email me at the address in my sig and we'll work something out.
Bob
PS Just so you know, to do this I'd need to have FTP access to your site to put some extra debugging code into the Joomla files to track down exactly where the failure occurs. I think that the same is probably true for Max.
Hi minimalniemand,
I'm travelling today, I'll try to have a look at all these upload issues together when I'm back in my office at the weekend.
Bob
thank you very much! your commitment is highly appreciated.
