Issues installing ChronoForms

shifty_ 26 Nov, 2007
Hi All

I am having issues insalling chronoforms under Joomla 1.5 RC3.

I get the following errors:

JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
JFTP::chmod: Bad response
JFTP::store: Bad response
Warning! - Failed to move file

Any ideas what this might be? Or is there any instructions on how to insall chronoforms manually? I.e. where to upload files to, configuration files to modify etc.

Thanks!

Hi Shifty,

I guess you have problems installing any components for J1.5 ? the errors seem to be with the Joomla installation itself and not with the component installer!

Hi shifty_,

I agree with Max, it looks as though you don't have write permissions for the folders needed to add the component.

Go to your site admin and look at Help | Info | Directory Permissions. All the entries there should be sowing 'writable' in green.

Hi There guys, thanks for responses...

I have gotten this to work on J 1.12 so that alone has made the $25 worth while😉

As for J1.5 I am on the Joomla forum too trying to get help there also.

I have not tried other components or anything but I suspect you may be correct, it might be all components.

However all the folders are showing up as writable, so I don't think permisions are the problem.

Can you think of anything else that I could check?

Thanks!!

Hi Shifty,

Lets please try whatever other 1.5 component to be sure we are at the right direction then we can think about it🙂
