Form not displaying

Hi,

I have a Joomla 1.7.2 site running ChronoForms 4.0 RC2.0 and the chronoforms plugin enabled.

I took a Joomla 1.5.24 chronoforms 4.0 RC2.0 form and backed it up, which was working on the 1.5 site. I installed this form in the Joomla 1.7 site. But when I view the form in the frontend, nothing is being displayed for the form. I just get the Chronoforms copyright line. See: http://www.template.line49design.com/contact-us

I then tried to make a new form, thinking that it might be a problem copying the form from a Joomla 1.5 site. The new form just had 1 text field, but nothing is displaying for that form either. I have looked through all of the parameters and settings, but I can't see anything that would stop the form from displaying.

Any ideas of what is not set up properly?

I haven't upgraded to 1.7.2 yet but I don't expect there are any changes that should break this*. I'll look shortly.

The symptoms shound mostly as though the Show HTML action is missing or disabled. Is that possbile?

Thank you. The Show HTML action was indeed missing. On the 1.5 site the action was Show HTML [GH] but there isn't such an action on the 1.7 site, so I guess it was just omitted on restore.

What is the difference between Show html [GH] and Show HTML?

Hi ljk,

The Show Email [GH] is my customised action from here. The Main differences are (a) support for automatic language detection for the validation scripts and (b) an input box to allow you set validation options. It's not part of the standard release.
