hello dear community,
first of all i want to thank you for this tuff component. we use it on www.taschenkalender.org .
i have a tricky question for you:
Is it possible to have the filled in email adress as the sender's adress of the email?
thanks for your support
arny
Hi Arny,
You mean to have the "From email" for the sent email the same as the email which the user fills in the form ? If so then YES, please put the field name where the user fills in the email in the "Special fields" tab -> From Email Field!!
Please let me know if this didn't work right!!
Cheers

hi Max!
thx for answering so quickly!
when i was looking for the 'special fields' i suddenly realised that i am running an older version of chronoforms. in my list of installed components it is version 1.0 . Sorry๐
I hope it is ok, that i ask this question here:
is there a way to patch it or should i delete the component and paste the entries i had before?
thanks for your help
arny

Hi Arny,
If you are running a new version with backup utility then you would be able to just backup then restore your form again, but as you have an old version then its better to uninstall then reinstall, or you can batch but you will need to make the DB changes yourself through PHPmyadmin!!

ok i have the new version, and in the moment i'm getting into it. This could take a while because of my lack of knowledge..๐ then, when i have it, i will post another reply, so that you know that it worked. thank you

Post edited by: arny, at: 2007/09/20 11:47
