Hi ranin,

There's a reported bug with the file upload action - see here

ChronoForms doesn't set any limit on file uplaod sizes part from the the option in the File UPload action. However your site may have limits set in the PHP.ini file.

Hello GreyHead,

I've try all solution for upload file with chronoform but nothing work 😟

I'm working with Joomla 1.6 and Chronoforms 4.0 RC1.9

When submitting form, I receive no error and no file is uploaded or attached to email.

I've setuped as required in tutorials, created directory manually with CHMOD 755 but nothing.

Could you help me please ?

Hi Doo,

By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.

Hi Doo,

There was no entry in the Upload Files tab 'Files' box where you define the allowable file types. I've added this and tested the form with an email but I don't seem to have received the email :-(

Hi GreyHead,

It's ok now, thanks a lot for your help. You don't receive any email because It's a test and I don't create any confirmation email as well.

Files are now stored in directory. I didn't understand that when emply, this setup Files box don't allow any file type. I thought it was the opposite, empty = all

thanks a lot
Best regards

Hi Doo,

The Files input is required. There was a wild-card * option in an early version of ChronoForms 2 I think, but it was removed because there is a serious security risk of allowing any kind of file to be uploaded.
