Hi,

I was able to create a form in easy wizard mode with 6 text fields. I saved the form, it looks ok.
Then I added a submit buttopn and another text field, but I cannot store the form anymore.
Every time I push the "Save" button it will result on jumping to the Joomla 1.6 control center and the form is not saved. It seems the save operation is aborting ....

Any idea what goes wrong here?

Hi Maago,

There are four main possibilities that come to mind:[list]

A JavaScript conflict with some other code on the page

Some PHP in one of the boxes that is causing a PHP Error (unlikely in CFv4)

Some conflict with a server security setting

A MySQL error because of an incorrect column name or value (also unlikely)

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look. That way I can check if the Form itself is OK.

Hi Bob,

takes a while ... I just created a new Test Form, and after I tried to add a third field it "crashes" and shows me the Joomla admin home page.
Here is the simple form I created ..

The form looks OK to me. I have no problem adding extra elements to it - 10 so far but could go on.

By all means email or PM me the site URL and a SuperAdmin login and I'll take a quick look.
