Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED)

Strange day.
Using Firefox 4, Chrome, IE9, same behavior, same on another PC (with Chrome),

opening Chrono Forms\Forms management
I get this error on Chrome:
Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED)
Something like this in Firefox (translated from italian):
Content encoding error The page you are trying to view can not be shown because it uses a form of compression is invalid or unsupported.

The configured forms are running fine.

I am not able to create new forms!
Help me!!

Updated: if I remove "compress gzip" from Joomla site configuration, all run fine, but appears these error on the manegement page:
Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$tablenames in /web/htdocs/www.paneecioccolata.com/home/home/administrator/components/com_chronocontact/admin.chronocontact.html.php on line 123

This is some kind of site setup problem. There's a thread in the Joomla! forums here that suggests "turning off 'GZIP Page Compression' in the global configuration of your site".
