Full Upload Path "Not Writable"

I changed the full upload path to a folder that I put into the components/com_chronocontact/Sell_Items/, however, it's telling me that this is not writable. I'm hesitant to just start chmoding sub-directories rwxr_xr_x (even the uploads sub-directory has this rwxr_xr_x). Can someone tell me what I should do in this instance?

Hi Dawn,

The upload folder has to be writeable by the Joomla! User - otherwise the files can't be moved there, usually I think that needs 755 (rwxr-xr-x) permissions.
