The Chronoform Wizard does not work ?

Hello,

I have been trying to generate new forms but it does not seem to work. If I drag the " Heading" from the Toolbox it appears just as Heading.

please see the snapshot.

Any idea why could this be happening ?

I found the problem. I disabled the XML plugins and it started working.

You probably have the MooTools Upgrade Plugin enabled. This is an optional plug-in that enables the MooTools 1.2 library on your site.

ChronoForms (and many other Joomla! extensions) use the MooTools 1.1.2 library that is installed by default. The ChronoForms Wizard, and other back-end code will not run with the plugin enabled.

If you disable the plug-in then ChronoForms should run correctly.

If you need MooTools 1.2 in the front-end of your site then there is a hack for the plug-in posted in the forums here that will enable the 1.2 library in the front-end only. However the ChronoForms validation code and some other features will not work with this version.

There's a fuller "How-to Document" here that includes fixed files that will let the front-end of ChronoForms work with MooTools 1.2.

hi please can some help me
i cant use the chronofrom completely its in active from the chronoform manager to the wizard the are all not functioning
what i have realized is that i only have 3 sub menus at the cronoform
: MAIN MENU -> COMPONATES -> ChronoFrom {form Manager, From wizard and validate installation}
is this complete?

You've installed ChronoForms v4. This requires the MooTools Upgrade plug-in to be enabled.

Please see this post or the Component Downloads page for the requirements for versions 3 & 4.

i cant see the option where i can enable the mootool upgrade plugin? its not in my plugin
i am using yootheme template waybeyond is there any conflict between the theme and chronoform?

Which version of Joomla! are you running?

YooTheme templates sometimes use JQuery which can cause problems with other Joomla! extensions.

Please post a link to the form so we can take a quick look.

Not required but probably worth keeping everything tidy so I'd suggest that you unistall it.

Hey thanks but i will stil disturb you again do i have to be online so that i can have a preview of my form. Coz when i publish it in the localhost i am just seeing your back link to your site at the top of the page "powered by chronoforms-chronoengine.com" is there anything wrong?

No you don't have to be on-line.

It sounds as though there is not Form HTML - or there is an error in the Form HTML.

No, if you are seeing the'Powered by' message the form is published.

Please take a Form Backup using the icon in the Forms Manager and post it here (as a zipped file) or PM or email it to me and I'll take a closer look.

hey sorry to say this but i have no such option in my chronoform menu i just have the form wizard,form manager and validation installation
while in the form manager i only have these options => New, Copy Form , Edit Delete, Create Table and Show Data
so is my installation not complete or whats wrong?

I'm sorry I though that you and switched to use ChronoForms 3.2

If you aren't seeing the form in ChronoForms v4 then you probably don't have a Show HTML action in the OnLoad Event.
