image verification image disappeared in admin and frontend

The png verification image has disappeared in both the Chrono Forms admin and in the form on the frontend.

Not sure what has happened. I have tried some of the solutions I found in others that have a similar problem but none worked.

Nothing changed in ChronoForms so this is most likely a security or permissions change on the host/server. There are some debugging suggestions in a FAQ.

Thank you. I investigated per the instructions in FAQ and discovered the problem. I recently added AkeebaBackup's AdminTools. The .htaccess Maker tool required the addition of the line, "components/com_chronocontact/chrono_verification.php", to .htaccess Maker - Server Protection - Exceptions to allow direct access to the file.
