Validate Phone Number By SMS - Then Redirect?

I have a client that wants to go beyond simply validating an good email address. The form in question is a simple Name, Phone & Email form that allows a user to proceed to the redirect page that has a video on it. He wants to make certain that the user enters a valid phone number.

The process I have in mind is to have people enter a MOBILE number (everyone has those now, yes?) and when the user submits the form, they are sent a random verification code via SMS text message. Once they have that code, it can be typed into a field. If the code is correct, they get to proceed and see the video on the final redirect page. Otherwise, they get a chance to go back and try again or go back to the main page of the site.

On another thread in this forum, I saw someone was trying to get a clickatell API to do something similar, but I couldn't see if they were successful.

Thoughts?? I'd be willing to pay a reasonable fee to get a working solution for Chronoforms.

Hi Erik,

I wrote up the ClickaTell form in Chapter 7 of The ChronoForms Book. I don't have an account to do the final check but everything up to that point was good. A very similar approach should work with any other e-mail to SMS service.
